2003 in Review
Spiritual Growth:
Three circle groups participated in the Bible Study "Grace Upon Grace - A study of the Gospel of John" as
presented in the Lutheran Woman Today from September 2002 through June 2003. In September we began the study, "
I thank God for You: Forming Community with Paul". Women of the ELCA provided the Word in Season and Christ in the Home
devotion booklets as a gift to the congregation.

Ministry & Action:

- Ladies supported and headed our prayer chain group
- Supported Lutheran World Relief with 60 quilts, 119 bars of soap, 23 school kits, and 20 sewing kits
- Collected pop top tabs to help supply kidney dialysis for children at Shand's Hospital
- Recycled aluminum cans to assist in our benevolence pledge
- Collected cancelled stamps for the Nursing Home at the DeLand Retirement Home
- Collected Campbell Company product labels to support local schools' educational tools
- Sunshine volunteer Sioux Zilaitis sent numerous cards to members and friends of the congregation
- Weekly collections of canned and dry goods to support the needy
- Made 30 Kathy Kaps for the Cancer Care Center in Melbourne
- Tool drive to support Habitat for Humanity

Service:
In 2003, the Women of St. Paul affirmed their gifts with service to the Lord. Women served as Deacons, worship assistants,
Altar Guild Members, Fellowship Hostesses, Organist, Cantor, Secretary, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, choir members, Council
Officers/Members, members on each of the committees, greeters, ushers, and St. Paul "Sew n Sews."
